A performance and installation exploring relationships and exchanges between light and matter, energy, work, the carbon cycle, consciousness, and the flux of art, life and nature. Coincided with the 20th anniversary of Construction in Process. The performance begun in darkness and one tonne of coal was removed by hand creating loud echoes, to reveal light and a box containing map, bread, vodka, seven glasses, and a rose. The residue of the performance was left as an installation for the duration of the exhibition.
